“Come” someone said to me, then I opened my eyes. I was in the middle of a boundless ocean surrounded by the dark. And I saw that I was in a boat. ‘Isn’t this something like Peter’s story in the Bible?’, I thought to myself. I felt my mind say that I needed to get out of the boat and walk on the water. I wasn’t scared because I could swim and the other people in the boat would throw me a life vest if I started drowning. I carefully got out of the boat and started walking on the sea. After a minute, I heard again, “come”. I recognised the voice – it was my Lord Jesus. I hesitated before walking again because I knew Peter fell into the water when he saw the water as he was afraid. Then Jesus scolded him of having little faith. But I thought I may as well try, and if I sank I’d just swim. When I put my feet on the water, I started sinking, and the water came up to my knees. But surprisingly, I walked fine for a long way. After some time, my eyes saw the whole picture. I couldn’t close my mouth when I saw that Jesus was holding my feet with His long arms because He knew that I couldn’t yet see Him. That’s why I was able to walk through the water without any of my own efforts. Amazing!
Eventually, I woke up from the dream.
I don’t have pride in my faith, but I’m confident in my faith in Jesus Christ, my saviour and mighty.
