One night, I woke up in the middle of the night and felt a strange darkness around me. ‘Am I still asleep? Or am I in space now?’ I wondered. I tried hard to find the stars in the vast and dark sky. Suddenly I saw something like the huge Halley’s Comet shoot across the sky, with such a wonderful and magnificent tail of light. My eyes gazed at the moving wonder and I shouted out in awe, “Wow!”. I was so astonished. Then I peered into the light and saw vast numbers of stars. So many stars! There were innumerable stars, big and very clear. I have never seen those kinds of stars in the sky. The dream short, but impacted me greatly. I woke up with my mouth open in awe. That day, I phoned my sister to tell her about the dream. She commented that stars were the metaphor for souls. As soon as she said that, it clicked that Halley’s Comet is Jesus and that through his light, souls are turned from darkness to light.
I didn’t use to share the gospel directly before going on an evangelism program. The program was tough and I had some difficulties with it. However after that dream, I developed in my heart a deep desire to share the gospel with the whole world.
