Overview

The first and most important words are the words of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus’ prayer is an example for us and shows us how to pray. Always he went to the Mount of Olives and prayed by denying himself to save people. The scriptures, Luke 22:39~46, was the motivation for this project.
Jesus taught and emphasised his disciples not to fall into temptation. Then Jesus prayed for Father God’s will be done not his desire.
As a Christian, How can we experience values of prayer as a spiritual activity? How can the prayer be translated for our understanding to pray spontaneously?

Incredibly, when I started to pray for all nations every night, in my mind, a picture appeared off the ground that was broken up. Prayer is like breaking up ground. To plant something, a farmer breaks up hard soil to soften the ground and let it breathe. Prayer is a supernatural working of the Holy Spirit to contribute for sowing and harvesting.

I went to Gethsemane garden in Jerusalem to develop the meaning of prayer. When I prayed in Gethsemane garden, Jesus’ great drop in the garden of Gethsemane flowed on the current through King Hezekiah’s tunnel which was an innovation to bring water from the Gihon spring in the City of David in Jerusalem in ancient times. Then the picture of breaking ground was changed to this image, water channels. At the moment when I saw the picture of water channels, it has been modified to the top view of London night. It seems like London is in darkness; prayer flows like channels of liquid light. At the moment again the scene of dark London changed to planted blue jewels. After my Journey in Jerusalem, I drew these five pictures in Bulstrode. That same night I dreamed a picture. When Jesus comes again, the jewels will be a wedding present from us, his church and bride.

Lord, I thank you for giving us the privilege of praying for all nations for God’s kingdom. Would you please encourage us every day, encounter us in prayer? And let us know you, love you continuously. In Jesus name.
